For thousands of years, our ancestors lived wholly immersed in the wonder of a living universe, intuitively guided through their days. Now amidst the pressure and pace of the modern industrial agenda, we’ve lost contact with our instinctive knowing and deeper sense of belonging, alienated not only from the natural world but from our own deepest nature. However, across disciplines we are waking to the fact that we are not simply skin encapsulated egos, separate from nature, but are beings in process, evolving in tandem with the rhythms and cycles of the rest of life. This Vitality Quest is an invitation to awaken to the wisdom of your deepest nature and to realizing your inherent place amidst the larger unfolding web of life. After a morning of healing, we will bring our newly melted borders to the quietude of Salmon Creek where we will engage in listening meditation, nature based practices and solo time on the land as a way of becoming more permeable to the deeper informant that’s always whispering. The day is an opportunity to discover what it is to unfold in rhythm with the vibrancy of all of life as we shift from “trying to move through the world” to “allowing the world to move through us”.

KERRY BRADY, MA, SEP, mentors others in awakening to their essential nature and to following its natural movement and inherent wisdom. Through individual mentoring, group retreats and teaching her work emphasizes the lived realization of our deeper identity as an integral part of the larger unfolding web of life and to the unique way it seeks to express through us. She has over 20 years of experience in transformational modalities including psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing trauma work, bodywork, nature-based retreats and vision quests, as well as in cosmology and naturalist studies. Kerry has served as faculty at Animas Valley Institute, Regenerative Design Institute and the California Institute of Integral Studies where she has co-taught with Brian Swimme for over a decade.
