About Us

The Petaluma Arts Center (PAC) is a community-centered visual arts organization in Petaluma, California, dedicated to making art accessible, supporting artists, and creating opportunities for people to connect through creativity.

At its heart, PAC is more than a gallery. It is a gathering place where artists, students, families, and community members can experience art, exchange ideas, learn new skills, and discover different perspectives. Through exhibitions, educational programs, workshops, public events, and community partnerships, PAC helps make the arts an active and meaningful part of everyday life.

PAC’s work includes rotating exhibitions by local, regional, and national artists; arts education for children and adults; programs such as Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) that encourage young people to look closely, think critically, and share ideas; and public conversations that explore the relationship between art and life. The Center also provides opportunities for artists to exhibit and sell their work, develop their practice, and build relationships with the community.
