Ann Derby is the owner of Petaluma School of Ballet, a local dance studio since 1959. Mrs. Derby bought the studio in 1982 and is also Artistic Director of North Coast Ballet California, a local non-profit pre-professional dance company. Petaluma School of Ballet has produced an annual full-length Nutcracker for 39 years. The studio caters to Petaluma families and conducts classes for ages 2-Adult in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and other specialty classes.
